Strawberry Shortcakes

strawberry shortcakes

I fell in love with this watercolor painting that was featured in it. I wanted to badly to draw one for myself, so I did. Of course, I didn’t do it to match the one in the movie, I changed a few details in it so it can have my own view inside.

The movie is about four women trying to cope with modern life and the ups and downs. It was based off a manga. You can read the review by clicking the link.
The drawing is in watercolors, on A4. As usual…

Puteti citi recenzia in engleza dand click pe link.
Desenul e in acuarela, pe hartie A4. Ca de obicei…

Lady with the dogs

Atunci cand se aseaza in leagan, elefantul zboara in sus, spre cer. Mi-a placut mult amuzamentul pur in aceasta situatie imposibila, dar totusi foarte adevarata intre paginile cartii.

It’s a character illustration after reading Jeanette Winterson’s book, Sexing the cherry. The woman is nicknamed “The lady with dogs” and has a wonderful, direct and quite sincere personality. She capture’s the readers heart right from the first pages.
In my drawing she is illustrated when a circus comes to town and she goes to sit in the same teeter with an elephant. The moment she sits down, the animal goes flying in to the sky. I loved the real amusement in this impossible situation, but still so very true inside the pages of Jeanette’s book.
Made with watercolor and fiber crayon colors on A4 paper.
