Destiny

Destinul nu este ceva aflat in afara noastra.

Fundalul a fost finalizat in Photoshop.

Destiny isn’t something outside of our person. We build it day by day, step by step. Cheerful or sad.

Composition on A4 paper, with black liner and colors. Background was made using Photoshop.

Incognito

Mixed media and also some Photoshop for the background. At first she had a face, but then I decided she looks more mysterious without it. Also manga inspired, Japanese art always has something you can learn from. Composition on A4 paper.

Lady with the dogs

Atunci cand se aseaza in leagan, elefantul zboara in sus, spre cer. Mi-a placut mult amuzamentul pur in aceasta situatie imposibila, dar totusi foarte adevarata intre paginile cartii.

It’s a character illustration after reading Jeanette Winterson’s book, Sexing the cherry. The woman is nicknamed “The lady with dogs” and has a wonderful, direct and quite sincere personality. She capture’s the readers heart right from the first pages.
In my drawing she is illustrated when a circus comes to town and she goes to sit in the same teeter with an elephant. The moment she sits down, the animal goes flying in to the sky. I loved the real amusement in this impossible situation, but still so very true inside the pages of Jeanette’s book.
Made with watercolor and fiber crayon colors on A4 paper.
